Getting married last year was definitely one of the best days of my life! For our first year anniversary, I wanted us to do something special – something we can do every year to remember our wedding day by. Taking photos at our wedding venue last week and recreating one of the wedding photos we took from the wedding meant so much. It brought back fun memories from our wedding day and special moments we shared with our family and friends. We look forward to taking this same photo next year!
We can’t believe how fast time has gone by and now we are celebrating 365 days of our love/marriage. It feels great to have made it one year as husband and wife. We’re so humbled and honored that God made us for each other and with His help, we pray to be the best husband and wife to each other for all the days of our lives. Thank you to our dear God, to our family and friends. We’ve been blessed with so much, and this is only Year One. We cannot wait for the years ahead – to celebrate “forevermore” years of our love! 🙂

Every year most people look for that change in life.. but who said you can’t make changes a couple months or mid year? Be free. Be good. Fear not. If you’re looking for ways to get resolution, below is a checklist I find pretty helpful. Give it a try and stick to it. You might just surprise yourself 🙂
THE ROAD OF RESOLUTION
1. Relationship – reaffirm your relationship with God.
2. Review – look back on the past year and ask God to show you the area of sin and weakness that might thane hindered your spiritual growth.
3. Repent – confess your sin and ask God to forgive you.
4. Refresh – ask God to refresh you and to give you a new vision for the year ahead.
5. Renew – ask God to help you see your life from His perspective, and renew your commitment to His vision and purpose for your life.
~Lord, Hebrews 11:6 says without faith it is impossible to please You, “for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Therefore, help me today to trust You, by faith, a little more than I did yesterday. Please guide me through the foggy unknown of my life today. In Jesus name, Amen.~
On September 24th, 2013, I turned 30-years old. It seems typical to be blogging about this age, but I’ve been fairly optimistic about it! Turning 30 wasn’t just about being another year older, but a reflection on all the things … Continue reading
