MJS Weddings & Events (MJSWE) was created to support BOTH the client and venue/vendor in achieving a successful event and to provide a memorable time for the guests. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, MJSWE can help clients plan successfully with a smart plan-of-action, a wealth of resources and exceptional organization. MJSWE specializes in weddings, but welcomes all types of events!

No matter what your event is, every event is a production! MJSWE offers a full service event planning, which consists of (but not limited to): maintaining budget, managing a calendar of action items selecting the venue, assisting with choosing the vendors, coordinating food, beverages and service needs, managing logistics, such as event overview, staffing, timeline, floor plan etc., consulting invitations and printed materials, arranging hotel and transportation accommodations, and on-site management. Maryjane (MJ) began her career in special events in 2005 at California’s Great America, one of the four major amusement parks around the Bay Area. She also spent many years working in the restaurant industry while planning events for a non-profit organization. Eventually, an opportunity opened up for MJ in the hotel industry which allows her to coordinate small to large scale corporate and social events. MJ has a sophisticated style and holistic approach to building events, paired with her client focused attitude and exceptional organizational skills has supported her enthusiasm for event planning. Her personal strengths combined with her work experience proves she’s a perfect fit to her chosen profession.
MJ enjoys planning for all events, but has a special passion for weddings. She began planning for weddings in 2010 when her mom decided to get married. This was the moment when MJ fell in-love with the world of weddings. She knew she had helped someone on the most important day of their life and wanted to continue helping other Brides ever since.
